The PADI rescue course is a great course, teaching you valuable skills in assisting other divers should a problem occur.

It is a challenge course designed to teach you neccesary skills to perform a successful rescue as well as signs to look out for that may prevent a problem occuring in the first place!

Pre-requisites
:
  • Open Water Certified
  • Minimum age 12 years

Cost:
  • £399 including EFR
  • £299 without EFR
Structure:
 
The rescue course is run over 2 weekends. On the first day we do the EFR course and follow on the Sunday with the rescue theory and pool practise in the afternoon. The following weekend we got to open water and once again practice skills on the Saturday. Then, on the Sunday, you will be required to work as a team responding to a variety of scenarios in open water.

Next Step: After the Rescue course you can complete a number of different specialities or go on to do your PADI Divemaster course.
